Wellington Rock 'n' Roll Revival Club is the original Rock 'n' Roll Revival Club in New Zealand.

The Wellington Rock 'n' Roll Revival Club started in 1978, see some photos and feedback on our 30th Birthday Hop celebrations held on Sunday 1 June.

The club was started by a group of friends who were concerned at the lack of venues, where they could enjoy rock 'n' roll music. In the beginning the emphasis was more on the music and movies of the 50's, rather than the dancing, but that soon changed as talented dancers joined the club.
