Wellington 30^th Birthday Hop – Queens Birthday 2008  

A successful night was held with all 300 tickets sold and a night with excellent live entertainment, setup and organisation.

Thanks to everyone who helped organise and support this event and made it such a memorable occassion.

Following  is some of the feedback received on the Hop

I have finally got over the 30^th birthday.  Having been involved with organising a few hops with the Wellington Club and I know the time and effort that the sub committee would have put in. I would like to pass on my thanks to those involved with organising the birthday hop.  I personally believe it to be the best Rock n Roll event held in Wellington for a lot of years. The entertainment and atmosphere was brilliant. From the moment I arrived at the hall I knew it was going to be a great night.  That was only possible because there was a group of people willing to give up their time to make this happen.  To the sub committee, thanks to all of you involved for bringing together this truly magical night. I believe with people like you, Wellington Club has a bright future.  Once again thanks

I just wanted to touch base with you to say thank you for choosing Avidiva to perform at the Club’s 30^th anniversary bash.  We had such a great time and were overwhelmed at the enthusiasm and generosity of the crowd. You should be proud of putting on such a great night for the Club members!
